Kirk Deangelo Perry, 50, died from multiple gunshot wounds shortly after midnight Monday, police said.
Perry was found unconcious in the 2400 block of Elvans Road Southeast, according to police. He died at a nearby hospital.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, Southeast.On Monday, December 1, 2014, at approximately 12:38 am, police officers from the Seventh District responded to a call for service in connection to a shooting in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, Southeast. Upon arrival, they located an unconscious male outside the incident location, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The decedent has been subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia where an autopsy will be performed to ascertain the cause and manner of death.
The decedent has been identified as 50-year-old Kirk Deangelo Perry, of Southeast, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
