A Hyattsville, MD man was arrested yesterday in connection with the February 2010 shooting death of Michaeldeon Talley.
Musonda Mulenga, 25, is suspected of First Degree Murder. He is scheduled to be presented with the charge today.
Mulenga is the second person arrested in the case. Twenty one-year-old Latonya Hall pleaded guilty to felony murder in the case. She’s due back in court Oct. 20.

Additional Arrest Made in the Homicide of Michaeldeon Talley
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced that an additional arrest has been made in the fatal shooting which occurred in the 900 block of 48th Street, NE.
On Monday, February 16, 2010, at approximately 11:24 pm, units from the Sixth District responded to the 900 block of 48th Street, NE., for the report of a man down. Upon their arrival, they located 33 year-old Michaeldeon Talley inside of the location suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Personnel from the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and determined that the victim showed no signs consistent with life. He was pronounced dead by a representative of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia.
On Monday, January 31, 2011, at approximately 10:30 am, an adult female, was arrested and charged with Felony Murder in the homicide of Michaeldeon Talley.
On Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at approximately 3:06 pm, 25 year-old Musonda Mulenga, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder While Armed pursuant to a DC Superior Court warrant.
