Corey Yates, a man currently in custody in Maryland on suspicion of first-degree murder there, was indicted by DC’s grand jury on a murder charge here in connection with the shooting death of Darrel Hendy.
A woman was found stabbed to death in downtown D.C., outside the Old Post Office Pavillion Monday. Police have identified here, but have not released her name.
Terrance McNeal was arrested in connection with the murder of Charles Hicks in Southeast D.C. in June. He was presented with a charge of second-degree murder while armed.
Lester Wright was presented with a charge of second-degree murder while armed for the shooting death of 48-year-old Howard Williams Saturday in Northeast D.C.
Dwight Gaiter died Wednesday of injuries he sustained in a stabbing Tuesday. Gaiter, 26, was from Capitol Heights, Md.
Musonda Mulenga, 25, was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder in connection with the February 2010 shooting death of Michaeldeon Talley.
James Fields was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of Christopher Freeman in Southeast DC on Aug. 5.
Allen Verter Jr. was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Dawan Anthony Felder in May 2010.
