On Monday, Chamontae Walker, Meeko Carraway and Corey Yates are due in court for a status hearing at 11 a.m. with Judge Thomas Motley. Walker, Carraway and Yates have pleaded innocent to a charge of first-degree murder in the Sept. 25, 2010 shooting death of Darrel Hendy.
On Tuesday, Curtis Patterson and Rickey Pharr are due for a status hearing with Judge Motley. They are suspected of first-degree murder in the Oct. 2, 2010 shooting death of Angelo Jones. Patterson was indicted in the case last month after lying to a grand jury about whether his co-defendant, Rickey Pharr, had asked him for a weapon the night of the murder.
Damien Pannell is expected sentencing in the May 17 stabbing death of Glenn Bailey. Pannell, who had been charged with second-degree murder, accepted a deal to plead guilty to a charge of voluntary manslaughter. Judge Motley will preside.
On Thursday, Jewell Washington is expected for preliminary hearing with Judge Gerald Fisher at 11:30 a.m. Washington suspected of felony murder charge in the Oct. 11 stabbing death of Mark Goldring.
Raymond Roseboro is due for a status hearing with Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Roseboro has pleaded not guilty to a charge of first-degree murder while armed in the Nov. 30, 2010 shooting death of 16-year-old Prince Okorie. Both Roseboro and Okorie were wards of D.C.’s Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services.
Shawn Davis is expected for a status hearing with Judge Fisher. Davis has pleaded not guilty to a charge of first-degree murder while armed in the Dec. 7, 2010 stabbing death of ex-girlfriend Tawanna Barnes Copeland in her Southwest D.C. apartment.
