Alexander Gomez-Enamorado Ordered Held on First-Degree Murder Charge

Alexander Gomez-Enamorado was ordered held today pending a preliminary hearing in connection with the stabbing death of Miguel Ventura.

Gomez-Enamorado was arrested at DC Jail Thursday after being given an FBI polygraph test; he’s suspected of first-degree murder.

Ventura was stabbed to death on the evening of Nov. 8, 2010 at a restaurant in NW.

According to charing documents in the case, Gomez-Enamorado admitted to having given police false information related to Ventura’s death.

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 19.
