Quindetta Cosby, 49, was arrested on suspicion of second degree murder while armed in the stabbing death of 49-year-old Paul Lawrence Morris.
On Sept. 13, police found Morris suffering from multiple stab wounds on the 300 block of Bryant Street Northeast. He was transferred to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. Police officers arrested Cosby at the scene.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in the homicide which occurred in the 300 block of Bryant Street, NE.
On Thursday, September 13, 2012, at approximately 6:35 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the 300 block of Bryant Street, NE for the report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The initial police officers on scene conducted a preliminary investigation and were able to locate and detain the suspect in this case.
The decedent is identified as 49-year-old Paul Lawrence Morris of Northeast, Washington, DC.
