Shootings in the District Friday night left two people dead.
A man was found shot several times in the chest just before 1 a.m. in the 3500 block of East Capital Street SE.
WJLA reports that he was pronounced dead at the scene; NBC Washington reports that he died at a hospital.
A woman was shot about an hour later, also in Southeast DC.
