A man fatally stabbed in Northeast DC Wednesday afternoon has been identified as 23 year-old Marvin Harvey; 22-year-old Asia Dontrese Moore has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case.
MPD identified Harvey and Moore Thursday evening.
Harvey was found stabbed and unconscious at about 2:25 in the afternoon Wednesday in the 4000 block of Blaine Street. A DC Alert indicated that a suspect was on the scene. It is unclear if that message was in relation to Moore.

Arrest Made in Homicide: 4000 Block of Blaine Street, NE
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced that an arrest has been made in the fatal stabbing which occurred in the 4000 block of Blaine Street, Northeast.
On Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at approximately 2:25 pm, patrol officers from the Sixth District responded to the 4000 block of Blaine Street, NE for the report of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they located an adult male, unconscious, suffering from an apparent stab wound. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent is identified as 23 year-old Marvin Harvey of Northeast, Washington, DC.
On Wednesday, July 3, 2013, uniformed members of the Sixth District arrested 22-year-old Asia Dontrese Moore of Southeast, DC, charging her with First Degree Murder while Armed in connection to the homicide death of Marvin Harvey.
