On Monday,
The trial of Erik Postell is scheduled to begin before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Postell is charged with first-degree murder while armed and five related weapons charges in connection with the shooting death of Paul Aime Tanoh Danzo.
Defense attorneys will present their case in the trial of Arik Sims, charged with first-degree murder and three related weapon charges in the shooting death of Lamar Fonville. On the stand, Sims’ childhood friend testified about his alleged confession after the shooting.
On Tuesday,
The trial of Burnis Cole is scheduled to begin before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Cole is charged with first-degree murder and one other criminal count in connection with the death of Raasheem Jamal Rich.
Zerrick Brown is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Carlton Coltrane.
On Thursday,
Charles Young is scheduled for a status hearing in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Rokeida Spriggs. He has been held since December 2013 in connection with the case.
Joseph Chandler is scheduled for a mental observation hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Chandler is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of his 63-year-old girlfriend Shirley Tucker.
On Friday,
Alphonso Cleveland is scheduled to be sentenced before Judge Robert Morin. He pleaded guilty in April to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the stabbing of his 51-year-old wife, Claudia Hall.
Antonio Hester is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 9:45 a.m. before Judge Rhonda Winston. He is suspected of first-degree murder in the January 2013 shooting death of Tracy McFadden.
Antonio Williams is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:00 a.m. before Judge Jennifer Anderson in connection with the death of Andre McIntyre. Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of felony charge of involuntary manslaughter less than a month after McIntyre’s death.
Corey Stoddard is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Russell Canan. He is suspected of second-degree murder in connection with in the Jan. 31, 2014 death of Kevin Lewis Crouch.
Lester Williams is scheduled to be sentenced before Judge Lynn Leibovitz for the shooting death of Jamal Coates after jurors found him guilty of first-degree murder.
Keir Johnson and Marcellus Jackson are scheduled to be sentenced before Judge Lynn Leibovitz at 10:30 a.m. in connection with Coates’ death after jurors found Johnson guilty of first-degree murder and Jackson guilty of second-degree murder in Coates’ death.
