A man who was shot and killed Wednesday evening in Northeast D.C. has been identified as 42-year-old Dawon Markham of Mitchellville, Md. Police found Markham suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of 62nd Street NE around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday; he later died at the hospital. According to NBC Washington, police found the man in the 200 block of 62nd Street Northeast suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
