Each Friday, Homicide Watch brings you a tickler of which murder cases are coming up in the DC courts. Highlights this week are two preliminary hearings, one for Rodney McIntyre suspected of killing his daughter, Ebony Franklin, and one for Monquel Cook, suspected of killing Michael Milton Wilson. Also this week, Damon Sams, who pleaded guilty in the death of Ashely McRae, is due to be sentenced. Daquan Johnson is also scheduled for sentencing for the Feb. 2010 death of Carlos B. Alexander.

On Thursday, Keith Wade and Raymond Roseboro are both due in Judge Lynn Leibovitz’ courtroom (310) for status hearings in their cases. Wade is accused of first degree murder in Keith Neal’s death in January 2010. A trial date has been set for Nov. 7. Roseboro is suspected of second degree murder in Prince Okorie‘s death in Nov. 2010.
Also Thursday, Alexis Pineda, suspected of first degree murder in the killing of Jose Hernandez-Romero, is expected for a status hearing in Judge Gerald Fisher’s courtroom (320).
Finally Thursday, Rodney McIntyre, who is suspected of killing his daughter Ebony Franklin, is expected in courtroom 310 in front of Judge Leibovitz for a preliminary hearing in his case.
On Friday, Judge Fisher is expecting two sentencings in his courtroom (302): Damon Sams in the death of Ashley McRae and Daquan Johnson for the death of Carlos B. Alexander.
Judge Fisher is also expecting James Speaks for a status conference Friday. Speaks is suspected of killing Shonell “Chris” Corriea.
Judge Jackson is expecting two cases: Aneka Nelson, one of six young people suspected by police in the brutal beating death of teen Latisha Frazier, is expected for a status conference. She appears to be the only one of the co-defendants in the case scheduled for Friday.
Jackson is also expecting a preliminary hearing in the case against Monquel Cook. Cook is suspected of killing Michael Milton Wilson.
