- Bobby Lee Jackson was killed in a shooting shortly early last Saturday morning in Northeast DC. No arrests have been announced in the case.
- Robert Foster was killed in a shooting following the Caribbean Festival in Northwest DC last Saturday. Terry Jimenez was arrested later in the week and charged with second-degree murder in the case.
- Solomon Reese of Southeast DC was killed Monday night in a Southeast DC shooting. No arrests have been announced.
- John David Bolton was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Christopher Fletcher in Southeast DC on May 24. He is suspected of first degree murder while armed.
- Deangelo Garner pleaded innocent to one count of first degree murder in the August 30 shooting death of Antonio Valdez Vela.
- Alfred Evans, a 28-year-old man, was sentenced to 47 years in prison for the 2003 killing of a homeless drug addict which Judge Lynn Leibovitz called incomprehensible.
- Antwan Holcomb, a 21-year-old DC man, was sentenced to 88 years in prison for the murder of Anthony Perkins in December 2009.
- Raymond Roseboro, the man suspected of killing Petworth teen Prince Okorie, was stabbed in jail and required hospitalization.
- Zachary Sims pleaded innocent to the death of Jamal Bell, a 16-year-old killed by gunfire following a Go-Go themed graduation party last June.
- Ransom Perry Jr. was sentenced to 24 years in prison for the February 2009 slaying of 14-year-old Arthur Daniels.
- Nardyne Jeffries’ lawsuit on the South Capitol Street “massacre” that left her daughter, Brishell Jones, and three others dead is now available online.
