The Washington Post reports that a Southeast DC man died in a stabbing Saturday night.
D.C. police found Kevin Blackwell Jr., 20, suffering from a stab wound shortly after 10:30 p.m., in the 900 block of Burns Street SE, in the Benning Ridge neighborhood. He later died of his injuries.

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the fatal stabbing which occurred in the 900 block of Burns Street, SE.
On December 17, 2011, at approximately 10:36 pm, units from the Sixth District responded to the 900 block of Burns Street, SE to investigate a simple assault. Upon arriving, officers discovered an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the body. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 20 year-old Kevin Blackwell, Jr. of SE, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
