• Jose Hernandez-Romero was killed near Logan Circle; Alexis Pineda was arrested in the case.
• Bruce Parker, 47, was shot and killed in Northeast D.C.
• The one year anniversary of one of D.C.’s most violent killings was marked with a vigil at the crime scene on South Capitol Street and the introduction of a bill to address youth behavioral health services.
• Keith Littlepage-El, a 49-year-old D.C. resident accused of killing his girlfriend last month, was ordered held by Superior Court Judge Heidi Pasichow, who detained Littlepage upon the ruling that there is “substantial probability” that he committed the crime.
• A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of homicide in the death of Jinnell McQueen in November.
• Alfred Evans, a 28 year-old D.C. man, was convicted in the April 2003 murder of Reginald Brighthart, a 35-year-old homeless man.
